You can also find Fix & Fogg in New Zealand supermarkets and leading specialty stores. If you’re overseas, you can order from Kiwi Corner Dairy or Shop NZ too!
ARE YOUR NUT BUTTERS GLUTEN-FREE?
All of our nut butters made are gluten free except for Granola Butter. We don’t add gluten containing ingredients to our other butters. However as some ingredients we handle may have come into contact with gluten at supplier facilities, we can’t guarantee there has been no cross-contamination. To be safe, please look for the GF certification in each product description.
ARE YOUR NUT BUTTERS VEGAN?
All of our nut butters are vegan friendly.
ARE YOUR NUT BUTTERS DAIRY FREE?
Yes, all of our nut butters are dairy free, except for our chocolate nut butters - we don’t add milk products to these products, however, these products may contain minute traces of dairy. The dark chocolate we use is made on a production line that also handles dairy products (although the dark chocolate we buy doesn’t use milk products as an ingredient).
ARE YOUR NUT BUTTERS SOY FREE?
Our chocolate butters contains a small amount of soy lecithin - this is an ingredient in the chocolate that we use. All our other varieties are soy free.
ARE YOUR NUT BUTTERS SUGAR FREE?
Our Smooth, Super Crunchy, Coffee & Maple and Smoke & Fire peanut butters and Everything Butter are totally free from added sugars. Our Fruit Toast peanut butter does contain some sugar, but it is unrefined sugar from natural sources (fruit). Our chocolate butters have a very small amount of refined sugar as it's an ingredient in the dark chocolate we use - much less than other, similar, chocolate spreads!
WHERE DO YOUR PEANUTS COME FROM?
Our hi-oleic peanuts come from in and around the stunning Córdoba region in central Argentina, and you can read more about our travels to Córdoba in our Journal.
ARE YOUR PEANUTS REGULARLY TESTED FOR HARMFUL BACTERIA LIKE AFLATOXIN?
Yes, we regularly lab test all of our products.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY FIX & FOGG, DOES IT NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED?
Our nut butter doesn't need to be refrigerated, but we recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight and storing it in a cool, dry place.
WHAT IS THE WHITE STUFF ON MY CHOCOLATE NUT BUTTER?
This is called cocoa bloom and is totally normal! It's just the cocoa solids separating a little, it’s more likely to happen in winter than summer as colder weather can ‘set’ the chocolate a little. If you find your jar has bloomed, try sitting it in some warm water for a few minutes. The cocoa solids will melt and you’ll be able to stir them right back in.
WHY IS THERE OIL ON TOP OF MY NUT BUTTER?
Because we don’t add any weird stuff (think additives and emulsifiers we’re not sure how to pronounce) to our nut butter, the natural peanut or almond oil separates over time. Nothing to worry about - just give it a stir and you’re good to go! You can even store your jar upside - just make sure that lid is on nice and tight.

We don’t offer international shipping from our New Zealand online shop. However, if you’re overseas and would reeeeeally like some of our peanut butter you can order direct from Kiwi Corner Dairy or Shop NZ! If you have a specific query about international shipping, you can email email@example.com. So far we’ve sent peanut butter to the UK, Germany, Japan, Canada, and many more places.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
You should receive your order within 3-5 working days. Please note that we don't dispatch on weekends.
I MADE A MISTAKE, HOW CAN I EDIT MY DETAILS?
If you've made a mistake when entering your details (e.g. forgot to add your flat number), send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 021 190 5695 and we'll do our best to catch it in time!
WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
We're unable to accept returns for our peanut butter, but if you feel that there is something wrong with the peanut butter you purchased or it was broken in transit please contact us and we will replace it.
